We can assist trustees and sponsoring employers in making the following decisions about their investment strategy:

  • Maximising expected investment returns for a specified level of risk.

  • Helping Trustees to strike the right balance between matching and return-seeking assets.

  • Ensuring the investment strategy and funding strategy are complementary.

  • HPW has an excellent track record of improving investment performance and recommending outperforming investment managers.

In order to increase understanding of the asset allocation decision we use an investment modeller, which can be used in real time at meetings to target an acceptable level of return or risk and construct an appropriate portfolio of assets. The optimum asset allocation is derived from what is known as “the efficient frontier”.

In getting to know potential clients we often provide a scheme specific demonstration of this modeller. In many cases it has demonstrated that expected investment returns could be increased by 0.5% per annum without the need to take any further risk.

If you would like to arrange a free demonstration please get in touch.
