About us

Our principles

We are committed to delivering the highest standards of advice, accuracy and service. With a Director/Owner involved in the provision of services to each of our clients, we have a direct personal interest in maintaining that quality.

At the same time, where possible, our services are provided within a competitive package fee, providing value for money, transparency and certainty.

We have never lost a client due to poor service or fees. Clients who appoint us stay for the long-term.

Our people

Our clients are looked after by a highly experienced team of pensions professionals.

All of our team are based in one office, ensuring greater communication and a more pro-active, rounded service.

With a Director/Owner responsible for the provision of our services and very low staff turnover, you are assured of a long-term relationship with the same named individuals.

There are no outside shareholders, bank loans or other financial commitments, allowing us to make decisions in our clients’ interests rather than in the interests of any third parties.

    • As an owner-managed business we do not have any outside shareholders demanding we make higher profits from our clients.

    • Consultants do not have an income target so there is no pressure to sell.

    • High staff and client retention.

    • No installation fee for taking on schemes if electronic member data is received.

  • Our aspirations for providing an exceptional service can only be met if we deliver brilliant results to our clients.

We believe we have among the most stringent service level targets in the industry.

  • HPW ensures all staff take-up opportunities to obtain professional training to assist personal development and to meet all professional requirements, and industry accreditation standards.

Progress towards relevant industry qualifications is actively encouraged. Nearly all staff have obtained professional qualifications, or are on a course of study to achieve this.

Training opportunities are made available on a regular basis including external conferences, seminars, and webinars from recognized providers.

HPW also arranges continuous internal training on matters such as compliance, technical and legal developments and business skills.

“We noticed an immediate improvement in service levels after we appointed HPW. We now have confidence that we are receiving the right advice for our fund to comply with the current complex and onerous legislation.”
