Trainee Pensions Administrator
HPW is looking for a bright individual to join their Pensions Administration Department as a Trainee Pensions Administrator.
Initially, the role will involve working with, and providing assistance to, senior pension administrators. After time, you would be expected to progress to having your own portfolio of clients to look after.
Training will also be provided in pensioner payroll.
You will be expected to work towards relevant professional qualifications awarded by the Pensions Management Institute. HPW will provide support for this, eg study leave and the payment for courses and examinations.
You need to be educated to degree level. An A in mathematics GCSE (or equivalent) is also required.
This role would suit an organised quick learner with good numeracy, literacy and communication skills. You should have a good working knowledge of Word and Excel.
The starting salary for this position is £18,000 per annum. The salary will rise in line with your learning, your effectiveness at work and your progression with the professional qualifications.
Hours are 36.25 hours a week and actual working hours can be flexible
Holidays are 23 days a year, rising after two years to 25, plus bank holidays.
