Pensions Dashboards: Connection is just the start, don't miss TPR's upcoming webinar

With the 31 October 2026 connection deadline fast approaching, pensions dashboards continue to be one of the most significant developments affecting pension schemes. While many schemes are now connected, The Pensions Regulator (TPR) is keen to emphasise that connection is only the beginning.

TPR is hosting a free webinar on Wednesday 8 July 2026 (2:30pm–3:30pm) entitled "Connection is just the start: are you ready for what happens next?" and is encouraging trustees, employers, administrators and advisers to attend.

The webinar will explore the practical challenges that schemes should now be focusing on beyond simply achieving connection, including:

• ensuring member matching processes are effective;

• returning accurate and reliable pension values;

• embedding dashboards into day-to-day operations;

• lessons learned from user testing and industry experience;

• good practice from across the pensions industry; and

• the latest guidance and checklists available to help schemes prepare.

The session will feature speakers including Chris Curry from the Money and Pensions Service (MaPS), Geraldine Brassett from PASA and Lucy Stone from TPR, followed by a live Q&A, giving attendees the opportunity to put their questions directly to the experts.

With around 75% of member records already connected, the industry has made significant progress. However, TPR's message is clear: connecting to the dashboards ecosystem is not the end of the journey. Schemes should use the period before public launch to test their processes, refine their data and ensure they are ready to deliver a positive experience for members.
