Clive Walker BSC FIA

With more than 27 years experience of occupational pension schemes, including 22 years as a qualified actuary, Clive Walker is one of the industry's leading professionals. His CV includes a stint as head of department for London Life's Final Salary department and a period as Scheme Actuary and pension consultant to a variety of final salary self administered and insured schemes while employed with Mercer.

Now, unfettered by the confines of corporate red tape, as a director of Hughes Price Walker, Clive enjoys the freedom and satisfaction that comes from combining pragmatism and professionalism to deliver a truly proactive and cost-effective service.

Ray Hughes BSc FIA

Working in the pensions industry since 1988 and as a qualified actuary since 1994, Ray earned his stripes as Scheme Actuary and pension consultant with Noble Lowndes and then Mercer, as it became in 1998. Ray's experience includes all aspects of pension actuarial work including actuarial valuations, scheme reconstructions, company accounting standards (SSAP24, FRS17, FAS 87/88/132), individual member calculations and mergers and acquisitions.

With a wealth of experience and an unparalleled ability to recall facts and figures, as a director of Hughes Price Walker, Ray has maintained a clear focus on all issues to do with quality management, responsible for developing new and innovative services with a significant impact on operational efficiency.

David Price BSc FIA

Having qualified as at actuary in 1995, David Price has served as Scheme Actuary and Senior Pension consultant to a wide range of final salary self-administered and insured schemes across a range of different industry sectors. Prior to joining with Ray and Clive to establish HPW in 1998, he was also employed as a senior consultant at Noble Lowndes (later to become Mercer). Dave has a particular interest in investment management issues, establishing HPW's Investment Profiling services for both Employees and Trustees. Committed to developing the intelligent use of technology in way that makes genuine inroads on efficiency, Dave takes responsibility for the firm's IT infrastructure and for improving the breadth of technical resource available for HPW clients. Dave can be available for client golf days on request.

Kathryn Davies

Kathryn joined Hughes Price Walker as Pensions Administration Manager from Hewitt Bacon & Woodrow where she played a key role as Team Manager with 7 years' experience in all aspects of administering defined benefit and defined contribution schemes.

Kathryn has overall responsibility for the delivery of all administrative services for Hughes Price Walker Ltd and has an integral role in the day to day management of administration services for all HPW clients.
